Denyse and Andrew are one of the sweetest couples! It was a pleasure to photograph their Maine church wedding. Denyse and Andrew have known each other for many years, they grew up in the same hometown and were friends throughout high school. Denyse always had a crush on Andrew but Andrew was clueless! It wasn’t until their freshman year college that they finally went on their first official date. After the first date, Denyse realized quickly she definitely still had feelings for Andrew! Fast forward two bachelors degrees and one doctorate, a new home, and the addition of their fur child, these two amazing people have officially become husband and wife!
You may remember Denyse and Andrew’s fall North Conway engagement session from last year. In addition to their engagement session with me, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Denyse throughout her engagement with Andrew due to having a close mutual friends. We have attended girls’ nights out and celebratory parties together. It was so special to create this friendship with her. It made the wedding day even more laid back and stress free! 
Every single person who was involved in Denyse and Andrew’s wedding day was incredible. The raw emotions that were visible were such a pleasure to photograph. 
Before heading to the first look, Denyse took a few moments at her parents’ house to read a letter from Andrew.
Denyse and Andrew decided to do a first look before their Maine church wedding. A few days before the wedding, they picked a gorgeous spot in the woods between their parents’ houses. What an incredible location! Their first look was so beautiful and full of happiness.
Both Denyse and Andrew were nervous while getting ready. Doing the first look was the perfect way for them to make the nerves disappear and it allowed them to enjoy each other’s presence before the ceremony (and have a little fun too!).

Denyse and Andrew have formed a relationship based on the strongest friendship. They both consider each other their best friend. This is evident in the way they interact with each other 
After their first look, we headed to their church ceremony. Denyse and Andrew’s ceremony took place in the Catholic Church in their hometown. 
Their Maine church wedding ceremony was beautiful! 
After the ceremony, we found more woods for their bridal party photos! 
A quick wardrobe change for the boys the morning of the wedding resulted in unique colorful socks…soccer socks to be exact! 
The bride and her dad surprised everyone during the father-daughter dance with freestyle dancing!
