Where do I even begin with Katie and Ben’s engagement session?! Their Northern Maine engagement session was nothing but perfect. We not only got lucky with the gorgeous scenery of the Presque Isle area but we also go an amazing evening weather wise. I swear it rained for a week straight before their session and it called for rain that night but we got super lucky! Before their session, I was nervous that Katie and Ben would be shy but I was SO wrong. Ben had Katie laughing the entire session! I couldn’t get over how natural they both were in front of the camera. I barely had to pose them or give them direction at all. Katie and Ben even challenged each other throughout the session to not smile or laugh… which ended up in them laughing even more. Neither one of them could keep a straight face for more than two seconds. They seriously made my job so incredibly easy! We managed to hit four great locations during their session, the Aroostook State Park, an old truck, a potato farm and then a random person’s field on a main road. Luckily, the home owner was okay with us using his field and even offered his golf cart so we wouldn’t have to walk! People are so nice!!
Katie and Ben were so inspiring during their engagement session. I definitely had the winter blues prior to their session and then bam the winter blues disappeared. I am beyond excited for their fall wedding later this year. If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding day is definitely going to be amazing!
